Evangelion Q got a bucketload of romantic symbolism all over the movie …star crossed lovers, heart -shaped tree, kindred spirits ost, the star gazing scene, the movie poster with the red strings of the fate symbolism,shinji blushing as hell,kaworu once again piercing shinji with the spears,sakura nagashi which clearly is from shinji’s Pov about kaworu and many other little things whenever kaworu and shinji r together which is something u don’t get to see when he’s with asuka /rei etc 💜💙💜💙💜
And still why there are so many people saying episode 24 for the tv series was much gayer 😢 I mean it’s less homoerotic but that doesn’t make it less gay 💙💜
They’re either ignorant of what anno meant to portray with all the gay environment all over the place or they just don’t want to face it :’( I even had a quarrel with my boyfriend today about this ..We recently started dating but If he carries on trying to make me believe kaworu and shinji r just friends I’ll just dump that dickhead
